Standard linke spalte, dreamweaver template

hallo zusammen

Ich habe ein layout mit dem Dreamweaver Template "2 column fixed, left sidebar, header and footer" erstellt. Nun möchte ich der Sidebar eine Hintergrundfarbe geben. Die sidebar sollte sich aber der grösse des MainContent anpassen. Momentan passt sich länge der Sidebar nicht an. Kann mir da jemand unter die Arme greiffen?
