vielen dank, das ist wirklich der einfachste weg. ich hab jetzt allerings noch ein verständnis problem. im ie7 funktioniert das position:absolute, bottom nicht wirklich. in ff sieht alles gut aus. warum wird im ie der footer nicht angezeigt? http://test.ruven.org/index.html Code:

Ich war davon ausgegangen, dass background2 eine Grafik ist - diese wird dann #main als BG-Bild zugewiesen, bottom pos.

Probier doch mal das Ganze in ein vernuenftiges Aeusseres zu bringen.
